What do you need to travel abroad with dogs?

A lot of people want to spend trips and vacations in the company of pets. Some simply have no one to leave a friend with, and someone simply cannot part with it. If traveling with an animal inside the country is quite real, then taking it abroad is much more difficult.

In particular, the rules for the export of domestic animals of the European Union have become more stringent.

What do you need in order to easily go abroad with your pet? List of necessary documents for the export of dogs, cats and ferrets abroad:

Registration of the animal at the place of detention.
Electronic identification. The microchip implanted under the skin of an animal must comply with ISO 11784, ISO 11785.
Veterinary passport of international communication (photo of the animal, if it has reached one year).
Rabies vaccination. The veterinarian makes a note in the veterinary passport (vaccine name, signature, seal, date) after checking the identification of the animal. The duration of vaccination depends on the vaccine used and cannot exceed 1 year. Vaccination should be carried out by animals aged 3 months and not later than 1 month before departure. A person who wants to carry an animal under the age of 3 months must first find out in the country of entry whether this is permitted in that country.
Veterinary certificate “Form No. 1 vet.” The form shall be issued by a doctor of veterinary medicine not earlier than 3 days before the animal leaves the country.
Veterinary certificate of animal health status is issued in exchange for form No. 1-vet. regional offices of customs control.
A blood test certificate for antibody titration is required between 4 and 12 months after rabies vaccination. The study of blood taken for analysis should be carried out in an accredited laboratory, and the content of neutralizing antibodies should be at least 0.5 IU / ml.
Deworming and treatment of the animal against ectoparasites, as evidenced by the notes of the doctor of veterinary medicine in the veterinary passport. Treatment for worms and ticks should be carried out between 48 and 24 hours before departure.
Certificate of breeding value of the animal indicating its estimated value
